You will provide high-quality legal advice across a broad range of commercial, procurement, and contract matters, while supervising and supporting one Contracts Lawyer. This is an initial 3 month contract role with the opportunity to go permanentKey Responsibilities:Lead on complex commercial and contract matters including drafting, negotiation, and procurement complianceAdvise on contract claims and manage associated risksSupervise and develop a junior lawyer within the teamPrepare and deliver legal reports, briefings, and committee adviceEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and proceduresContribute to the continuous improvement and efficiency of the legal serviceDeputise for the Chief Contracts Lawyer as requiredRequirements:Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or FILEX (England andamp; Wales)Significant post-qualification experience in contracts and procurement lawStrong understanding of commercial, building contract, and public procurement lawExcellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skillsProven ability to manage and develop junior legal staffStrong commitment to equality, ..... full job details .....
