Responsibilities:

Check patient medical records for past histories, enter data into computer, and file.

Take medical histories and vital signs of patients.

Maintain client educational materials efficiently.

Admit and discharge patients.

Handle prescription refills, including processing and logging in-house, calling out to pharmacies, and online pharmacy management.

Monitor hospital patients and log vital signs.

Administer medications as needed.

Place catheters and perform blood draws.

Restrain and assist the veterinarian during exams, treatments, and anesthesia procedures.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and stand or stoop for long periods.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of related experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate. Registered Veterinary Technicians in
