Insurance Account Handler - Bradford

Our client, a well-established and reputable insurance brokerage, is hiring for a proactive and customer-focused Insurance Account Handler to join their growing team in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, deliver outstanding service, and build long-term relationships.

What you''ll be doing:
* Managing and developing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
* Handling client enquiries professionally and promptly
* Preparing and issuing new business quotations, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
* Liaising with insurers to secure competitive terms and premiums
* Ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and issued within deadlines
* Maintaining client records via CRM and policy management systems
* Supporting clients through the claims process with regular updates
* Identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
* Ensuring FCA compliance and contributing to team performance

What you''ll bring:
* 1-2 years'' experience in an insurance role (broker or insurer)
* Strong understanding of general insurance products and principles
* Experience with Acturis is essential
* Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
* Attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident negotiating with clients and insurers
* Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of FCA compliance requirements

Additional details:
* Full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
* Salary from £32,000 DOE
* Location: Bradford (BD10)
