Class 1 General Haulage Driver

Days working: Mon - Fri (Weekend work when required)
Rates: Rates of Pay

• £165.00 per day (Monday - Friday)
• £35.00 bonus per day (Saturday & Sunday)
• Abnormal Load Bonus
• European Bonus
• £26.00 per night out

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Class 1 General Haulage Driver to join its expanding fleet. As a specialist in abnormal and European loads the work is varied and interesting.
 
Key Responsibilities
Movement of press tools, sheeted and chained/ installations kit/ crane kit/ farm machinery/ consolidated palletised loads/ HS2 contracts.
 
Working with trailer types - Curtain/ Sliding roof curtains/ Flats/ expendables''/ Ramp/ Low Loaders/ Step Frames/ 4 axle step frames/ 5 axle step frames.
 
Requirements

• HGV C+E Licence
• CPC Qualification card
• Tachograph Card
• 2 years minimum Class 1 Experience
• A broad background in General Haulage is advantageous although training will be provided.

The General Haulage fleet also operates 80te Tractor units. With a close working relationship with our Heavy Haulage division routes of progress are readily available and encouraged within the business.
