Acorn by Synergie is currenty recruiting for a vacancy for a Skilled Injection Mould Condition Setter with a driven and ambitious attitude. The successful candidate would be required to work as part of a technical team in a busy and fast paced injection moulding shop floor environment. The company operates a 24/7 production schedule with 16 injection moulding machines including Negri Bossi, Engel and BMB ranging from (Apply online only) ton press size.The day to day role would be:Carrying out mould tool changes as per daily schedule (avg 5-8 tool changes per day)Process and adapt conditions to produce quality approved componentsComplete settings paperworkUse of overhead gantryUse of robots to include six axis robotsResponsible for Health and Safety procedures while setting the machinesEnsuring and assisting in always maintaining a clean and safe working environmentHandling of heavy and expensive tooling The successful candidate would need to be competent in process knowledge as well as a good understanding of automation and process and technical trouble shooting. Working hours and payMonday - Friday 7:30am - 5.00pm (However, the demands of the business may require you to stay on until 5:30pm+ so flexibility would be a requirement). Overtime would be paid over and above the normal contracted hours of 47.5hrs per weekSalary between 34k - 38k per annum - this is dependent on experience.
