Position: Electro-Mechanical Build Technician Location: Cambridge Salary: 30,000 Proactive are currently in search of a skilled Electro-Mechanical Built Technician to start work for a company based in Cambridge. You will be responsible for providing build and test support for the development and production of cutting-edge systems using your mechanical and electrical knowledge.Main Responsibilities: Responsible for the assembly of Systems in support of the product development team including but not limited to:Reading and interpreting technical drawings.Power Cabinet panel wiring- flagging issues with supplier and internal quality.Mechanical assemblies (flash heads, pipework, cabinets, power cables).Electrical / functional / safety testing of system builds.Take ownership and responsibility to ensure that the build process is as fast and trouble-free as possible for all members of the team whilst maintaining a high-quality standard.Undertake electrical/functional testing of systems prior to the system being released.Support the testing and commissioning of systems on customer sites - some travel will be required.Develop and improve all aspects of the build process including standardisation of build and test methods to ensure highest product quality.Create and maintain documentation to support system builds.Specify and maintain tools and equipment.Develop and sustain Kanban systems for control of consumables in systems build.Training and development of systems build ..... full job details .....
