Hours Days based;
Monday - Thursday 7.30 - 4.30pm
Friday - 7.30 - 12.30pm
Overtime x1.5 in week and Saturdays x2 Sunday

Who can do it?

This role could suit someone who is a fully skilled CNC Turner Machinist who is looking to progress into an off-tool''s role, or someone already working in a support capacity

. Apprentice trained time served CNC Machinist
. Fully able to read drawings and customer standards.
. Able to programme and set CNC Lathes with live tooling at the machine.
. Knowledge of Mazak/Mazatrol essential
. Involvement with shopfloor process issues and process improvement
. Ordering of new tools for NPI projects.
. Liaise with customers.

Key Accountabilities
. Taking new projects through to first off and proving machining process.
Duties
. Generating programs and proving them
. Manufacturing parts to customer instruction
. Giving guidance on best method of manufacture
. Supporting employees to achieve customer deadlines.
