Senior Quantity Surveyor – SheffieldTake charge of commercial delivery across high-value construction projects, acting as both Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager. You''ll lead from concept design through to completion, ensuring cost efficiency, contractual integrity, and client satisfaction. They work numerous construction schemes: Residential, Commercial, Heritage, Retail, Leisure, Education, Industrial, Public SectorResponsibilities

Cost and Commercial Management: Develop cost plans, manage budgets, forecast cash flow, and produce tax depreciation schedules.Procurement and Tendering: Lead contractor evaluations, prepare tenders, and oversee contract preparation and negotiation.Contract Administration: Handle interim valuations, variations, claims, and final account settlements.Project Oversight: Conduct site inspections, manage change control, and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.Client and Team Interface: Collaborate with clients, mentor junior staff, and support internal marketing and close-out processes.About You

Degree-qualified in a relevant disciplineDeep understanding of construction contracts and commercial strategyProven experience managing complex building projectsStrong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel and deliver excellence on-siteRICS (or working towards)Core Competencies
