As the organisation continues to grow its UK presence and take on increasingly complex programmes, it is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist / Project Manager to play a key role in the successful delivery of supplier and subcontract activities.
The Role
This is a project-focused supply chain role with responsibility for managing the full supplier lifecycle across complex programmes.
You will act as the key interface between Supply Chain, Project Management, Engineering, Quality, Commercial, Finance and external suppliers, ensuring that suppliers deliver against agreed cost, quality, technical and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
About You
We are looking for someone with a strong background in supply chain, procurement, subcontract management or supply chain project management, ideally gained within a complex engineering or technology environment.
Essential Experience
+Proven experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Subcontract Management or Supply Chain Project Management.
+Experience managing suppliers within complex projects or programmes.
+Strong understanding of managing suppliers against cost, quality, technical and schedule requirements.
+Experience developing and implementing procurement or supply chain strategies.
+Experience with supplier selection, RFP/RFQ processes and commercial evaluation.
Strong supplier performance and issue-management experience.
+Good project management skills, including planning, risk management, reporting and action tracking.
+Experience working across multiple functions and managing competing priorities.
