The position offers good exposure to senior stakeholders, process improvement initiatives and the chance to help shape a scaling business.Client DetailsOur client is a rapidly growing banking business, providing a range of banking and financial solutions and are investing heavily in growth, technology and operational excellence.DescriptionPrepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.Ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards and regulations.Oversee and manage month-end and year-end close processes.Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion.Analyse financial data and provide insights for decision-making.Maintain strong financial controls and address any discrepancies.Support the budgeting and forecasting process as needed.ProfileQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CPA or CIMA), or nearing qualification.Experience within banking, financial services or another regulated environment.Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.Proven experience of month-end close, reconciliations and financial control.Exposure to statutory accounts and external audit processes.Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.Experience with finance systems and a proactive approach to process ..... full job details .....
