We are looking for experienced Rolling Stock Technicians to carry out C4 Overhaul on a fleet of vehicles in Derby on a 6 month Contract basis. This role has a rate of 18.27 ph PAYE or 24.80 Umb (inside IR35) - 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday Days only The individuals must have experience in some form of heavy underframe overhaul or heavy maintenance works, those from a heavy engineering background will be considered also such as HGV/REME/PSV/Tracked Vehicles etc Your Tasks Carry out maintenance and overhaul of Rail Vehicles to laid down standards and procedures Working on the underframes of rail vehicles to refit/replace components as part of the overhaul. Your Profile Essential: Experienced engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3. Proven experience, involvement and understanding of rail vehicle heavy maintenance activities such as underframe or bogie overhauls. Understanding of Depot Operations, along with working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering (desirable) Any successful candidates will be required to pass a Medical, DandA test as well as basic DBS.
