Health and Safety Manager (Construction)

Help build a strong safety culture on a major construction project in Luton, backed by a supportive management team. FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established construction business with the recruitment of a Health and Safety Manager. Permanent, full-time position based in Luton, with some travel to other sites as required. Salary £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience + additional benefits This is a hands-on Health and Safety role supporting a major construction project, with responsibility for site compliance, risk management, incident investigation and maintaining a strong safety culture across the workforce. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures. Carry out regular site inspections and identify potential hazards. Complete risk assessments and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Lead accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis. Produce detailed reports covering inspections, investigations and compliance. Deliver health and safety training, toolbox talks and awareness sessions. Support emergency response planning and first aid preparedness. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and construction industry standards. Provide guidance and support to site teams on health and safety matters. Work closely with senior management and project teams to improve safety performance.
