Nursery Practitioner - Level 2 or Level 3

Location: Hemel Hempstead , Hertfordshire

Working Days: Monday-Friday, 4 or 5 days per week
Salary: -13.50 - -16 per hour

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Practitioner to join our team. We are happy to consider candidates who hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare and are passionate about supporting young children''s learning, development and wellbeing.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children. You will work alongside the nursery team to support children''s development through play, activities and positive interactions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality care and support to children.
• Planning and supporting engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Supporting children''s learning and development.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
• Supporting children''s personal care and daily routines where required.
• Working as part of a friendly and professional team.
• Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Early Years/Childcare.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic.
• Reliable, professional and hardworking.
• Confident communicating with children, parents and colleagues.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Passionate about helping children learn, develop and thrive.
• Able to work Monday-Friday, 4 or 5 days per week.

Applicants must either:

• Hold a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or
• Be willing to apply for a new DBS check.

If a new DBS is required, the cost can be reimbursed after 20 days of successful employment, subject to the applicable terms.

Candidates must be able to provide a minimum of two professional references covering the last two years.
