Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need? A leading charity is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of efforts to empower and support vulnerable individuals experiencing/fleeing situations of domestic violence within the community and promote collaboration between clients and services.
Provide hands on leadership to a team of staff supporting vulnerable people with additional complex needs ranging from addictions, complex mental health, domestic abuse, domestic violence
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate activities to engage with and support individuals experiencing or fleeing domestic violence.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to connect with marginalized communities and provide vital assistance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners including cross authority, to create impactful support programs, building strong community relationships.
- Hands on application of leadership to a team of staff operating within a domestic violence support service.
- Provide supervision, support and guidance to other staff and volunteers as agreed with Line Manager.
- Promote collaboration between service and clients, to develop the reach and representation of the services for each person''s needs.
- A relevant qualification in social work, human services, or a related field.
- Training or certification in trauma-informed care, mental health first aid, or crisis intervention.
- First Aid and CPR certification, with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
