Our client, a well-established leader in the Building Services sector, is seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Engineer to become a key part of their team. Based at one of their sites in Burton-on-Trent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of the facility. Job details: Responsible for fabric-related PPM and reactive works to meet customer expectations: Basic Plumbing work Flooring and ceiling works Carpentry Painting and decorating General handy man tasks including fitting and repairing locks, hinges and handles. Door Fitting / Repairs Carrying out basic electrical works. Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of documentation Maintain the plant rooms, roof and fire exits to company standards and ensure all plant and equipment is well maintained. Maintenance of Air Handling Units (AHUs). Inducting subcontractors, reviewing rams and assisting where possible Qualifications / Experience: Apprentice trained (desirable). Qualified to Level 3 as a minimum (NVQ/BTEC/ONC). 18th Edition wiring regs (desirable). Must have previous experience in a similar role. Ability to use internal IT systems. Ability to work from instruction and make decisions as needed with minimal supervision.
