Business Development Manager - Dairy Tech (SW Scotland and Cumbria)

If you''re passionate about dairy farming and see yourself in on-farm sales, you won''t be interested in selling luxuries or fads. You''ll want to know that your product really helps your customer. In this role, you''ll be representing a reputable name with a smart farming portfolio that is proven to improve herd performance, productivity and animal welfare. Furthermore, all products are grant applicable. You might be from a feed sales background seeking to deliver a more solution-focused, consultative service to customers. Alternatively, you might be from the dairy genetics, animal health or nutrition spaces. If you have dairy knowledge and experience combined with a drive to build relationships on farm, we''re keen to talk with you. Key responsibilities: • Promote and support smart farming software solutions, tailoring to the needs of dairy farmers. • Transfer knowledge of how the smart farming software optimises herd performance and profitability. • Provide support in demonstration and introduction of software systems, ensuring ease of use and measurable outcomes. • Build and maintain relationships with dairy clients, industry partners, and stakeholders. • Identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product development.
