This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real IT environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification. You''ll work alongside experienced IT professionals, supporting the technology used across schools and developing practical skills across IT support, networking, devices, Microsoft 365 and infrastructure. About the role: As an Apprentice Technical Support Engineer, you''ll be part of a team responsible for the delivery and support of ICT servers, networks, hardware, software and end-user technology across schools. You''ll receive support and guidance from experienced members of the team while developing your technical knowledge and confidence. Your responsibilities will include: Providing day-to-day technical support to schools and helping resolve ICT issues Installing, configuring and supporting servers, networks, computers, devices and software Responding to incidents and requests through the ICT Helpdesk Supporting the maintenance and smooth operation of school networks Managing user and computer accounts across Active Directory, Open Directory and Microsoft 365 Helping to ensure school servers are backed up correctly and in line with relevant policies Checking that anti-virus and security software ..... full job details .....
