Estates Electrical TechnicianSalary: £45,000 per annumOvertime: Available and paid at time and a halfContract: Full-time, permanentShift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off / 4 on and 4 nightsLocation: Central LondonThe OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Estates Electrical Technician to join a well-established estates and engineering team supporting a complex, safety-critical environment within a prestigious Private Hospital in London.You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability and statutory compliance of critical electrical infrastructure across a multi-building estate. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical plant and systemsDiagnose and rectify faults through reactive maintenanceMaintain compliance with relevant statutory regulations and electrical standardsOperate and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS)Maintain and fault-find on LV electrical systems, switchgear, distribution boards and control panelsRespond to electrical breakdowns and emergency situations, acting as a first responder when required (training provided)Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentationWork collaboratively with engineering, fabric and estates colleagues to support uninterrupted service deliveryRequirementsMinimum 3 years'' post-qualification experience in electrical building services or facilities maintenanceQualifications at HNC/HND / Level 4 or 5 in Electrical Engineering or equivalentStrong working knowledge of:LV electrical ..... full job details .....
