Early Years Team Leader Level 3 – Pine Rivers Kindergarten, Reading

The Aspire Training Team is currently recruiting a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to complete an Early Years Team Leader Level 3 Apprenticeship at Pine Rivers Kindergarten, Reading.

Pine Rivers Kindergarten is a nursery and playgroup in Reading, Berkshire, with extensive experience providing outstanding childcare and educational solutions. Our premises are large, airy, and ideal for children to move around safely and develop their spatial awareness. We have designated areas for different age groups, enabling children to make friends their own age while learning and playing.

We treat each child as an individual, tailoring our approach to their needs. Our services are suitable for children from three months to eight years old, engaging them in planned activities that stimulate learning in a relaxed environment, encouraging cooperation and social skills development. Our grounds include grassed and decked areas, as well as animals like birds and tortoises.

All staff are DBS-checked, highly qualified, and dedicated to supporting children''s learning and safety. As a family-run business with a strong community reputation, we foster close relationships with parents, involving them in their child''s development. We have onsite Paediatric First Aid personnel and hold a five-star rating and reviews, making us a trusted choice.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

Shaping the curriculum and guiding the learning and development of children under your care.

Leading and managing the under twos room team, providing guidance, support, and professional development.

Designing and executing activities aligned with the EYFS framework.

Conducting regular safety checks and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Fostering relationships with parents.

Promoting safeguarding and the welfare of children.

Hours:

Pine Rivers Kindergarten is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential.

You must be able to obtain a clear DBS check.

GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
