Supply desk is proudly recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking secondary school who is part of a multi Academy Trust in East Sussex seeking a passionate and resilient Maths teacher to join their dedicated team in September 2025.

The school supports a good number of students with challenging behaviour and they are looking for teacher who sees beyond the barriers and is determined to help students rediscover their love for maths.

Your responsibilities:

• Plan and Deliver structured Maths Lessons across KS3/KS4 in line with the national curriculum
• Build positive and consistent relationships whit students who might have experienced disruption or disengagement in their education
• Promote positive behaviour for learning and maintain strong classroom routines
• Work collaboratively with staff, pastoral teams and trust colleagues
• Help student grow in confidence andndash; both in Maths and in themselves

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified teacher status desired but not essential
• Confident in planning and delivering KS3/KS4 Curriculum including GCSE
• Confident in Challenging Behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Strong classroom presence, resilience and a solution focused mindset
• Clear focus on restorative practice and inclusion
