LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Location: Chatham, Medway
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Contract: Full-time
Year Groups: KS1 & KS2

We are currently looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Chatham, Medway area, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with their learning, development and wellbeing, and who can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant within a school setting

• Experience supporting children across KS1 and/or KS2

• A patient, nurturing and supportive approach

• The ability to work confidently as part of a school team

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Relevant qualifications are preferred

• Driving is preferred due to the location/accessibility of the role

• A fully enhanced DBS is required

• Candidates should either be registered on the DBS Update Service or be willing to apply for a new enhanced DBS

• Suitable references and safeguarding checks will be required

8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Full standard school day, term time.
