Temporary Receptionist Cover – Stevenage

SMT Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to provide temporary holiday cover at a large serviced office in Stevenage.

Dates: 1 week, 7th – 14th August
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Break: 1-hour unpaid lunch
Pay Rate: £14 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcoming and greeting visitors, clients, and contractors in a professional manner
• Answering and directing incoming calls
• Managing meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are prepared and presentable
• Handling incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and couriers
• Providing general administrative support when required
• Maintaining a professional and welcoming reception area

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous reception, front of house, or customer-facing experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional, reliable, and well-presented
• Confident using Microsoft Office and managing a busy reception desk
• Able to work independently while delivering a high standard of service
