Care Assistant - West Leicester 
Location: Positions available in West Leicester, Narborough, Market Bosworth & Surrounding Areas
Pay Rates: £13.65-£14.65 per hour
Contract: Flexible/ Casual 

 
Home Instead West Leicestershire & Market Bosworth is growing, and we need compassionate, dedicated Morning Care Assistants to make a real difference in the lives of adults and the elderly in our community. If you have a kind heart and a desire to help others, we’d love to hear from you!
 
Every morning is different, but your role will focus on making life easier and brighter for our clients. Duties include: 

1. Assist with personal care – bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
2. Support with medication – reminding, administering (if trained), and recording.
3. Prepare and serve meals – including feeding assistance if needed.
4. Help with mobility – such as getting in and out of bed or using mobility aids.
5. Carry out light household tasks – cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
6. Provide companionship – engaging in conversation and emotional support.
7. Monitor client wellbeing – observe and report changes in health or behaviour.
8. Encourage independence – supporting clients to do as much for themselves as possible.
9. Maintain accurate records – documenting care provided and following care plans.
10. Ensure safety and safeguarding – identifying risks and promoting a safe home environment.

Key Requirements:

• Caring and compassionate nature – genuine desire to help others.
• Good communication skills – both verbal and written, to interact with clients and record care notes accurately.
• Right to work in the country – required documentation or visa status.
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle – often required for domiciliary care roles.
