We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN TA to work with one of our schools to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in both Primary/Secondary schools across Thirsk.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needsAssist the teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activitiesSupport students with emotional regulation, social skills, and communicationUse a range of strategies and interventions to meet individual needsFoster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environmentWork closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals What We''re Looking For:Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or other relevant settings)A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting studentsStrong communication and teamwork skillsRelevant qualifications Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Team Teach, or equivalent - desirable but not essential)An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Why Join Us?
