The Lead Security Analyst, Europe, is responsible for the day-to-day direction, guidance and analytical line for Europe across all internal and client-facing deliverables, in line with the direction set by the Security Director, IandA, and in alignment with the Security Director, Assistance, as well as with global standards. The Lead Security Analyst will be the regional analytical lead for Europe and will work closely with other Lead Security Analysts and relevant Medical IandA leads. You will be closely integrated into the day-to-day security assistance operation, ensuring that operational decision-making is informed by and aligned with the analytical position and outlook.In this role you will have an understanding of and interest in shaping how IandA should be delivered and presented to clients in an audience-centric way across the multimedia digital space. You will also provide on-the-job training and support for the Security Specialists, IandA as well as be part of regional and global projects to enhance the IandA collection, analysis and dissemination capabilities.Key Responsibilities

Ensure International SOS’s analytical position and outlook on Europe is clear to clients and internal stakeholders to inform timely decision-making.Provide appropriate collection direction for Europe to the Security Specialist, IandA team on a standing and dynamic basis.Ensure the Security Specialist, IandA team has appropriate numbers and diversity of sources for intelligence collection, developing action plans for the Security Director, IandA where appropriate.Oversee Europe’s operational posture and planning in alignment with the security outlook.Oversee feedback to Security Specialists, IandA for Europe deliverables, building subject matter knowledge and intelligence writing best practice.Collaborate with stakeholders across the Content Services and Medical IandA communities to ensure output is comprehensive and efficient.Maintain background client-facing security information, ensuring it is up to date and reflective of the current risk environment and International SOS’s analytical and operational position.Contribute to maintaining a best-in-class security IandA capability by participating in projects related to enhancements, such as intelligence collection tools and trainings.Travel to European countries as required to assess security situations, local provider capabilities and expand the network of IandA contacts to support clients and operational planning.Participate in the regional security on-call roster as required.Deliver safety and security trainings and engage in client-specific IandA consultancy tasks as required.Support the Sales and Marketing teams in articulating International SOS’s services and providing expertise in Europe-facing forums such as webinars.Develop an understanding of a 24/7 global operational intelligence cycle to support clients with analysis and assistance across security, health and logistical threats.Undertake competency-based trainings based on management assessment of priorities.About You

Strong knowledge of the political and security landscape within Europe.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain complex situations to non-expert audiences in English.Ability to critically analyse multiple information streams under time pressure and produce actionable insights.Ability to identify key streams of effort and direct colleagues accordingly.Knowledge of all stages of the intelligence cycle including multi-source direction and collection.On-the-ground experience in Europe.Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other applications.Typically 6-8 years of experience in security intelligence analysis and production, including experience in Europe in relevant sectors (e.g., military, government, NGO, journalism) or related academic studies.International work experience in challenging, remote, or hostile environments.Experience with OSINT tools and Structured Analytical Techniques.Public speaking, client-facing presentation and/or media experience.Master’s degree (or relevant professional training) in a field related to security intelligence, international politics, international relations or similar.Excellent spoken and written English language.Additional Information
