Are you a Teaching Assistant interested in working flexible days with children who have behavioural and mental health needs? We have numerous schools across Camden seeking confident and proactive teaching assistants with a good understanding of child mental health or a willing approach to support children with additional needs.

As a specialist teaching assistant, you will work with pupils either on a 1-to-1 basis or within a class setting during the school day. Pupils range in age from 5 to 11 years old and may have behaviour, SEMH, SEN including ASD needs that require support. Your role may involve working in classrooms, in specialist mentoring sessions, and during some break times. Some pupils may display challenging behaviour, and the school can provide training in suitable interventions and approaches. You will work closely with the school''s SENCO, senior management team, and outside agencies such as therapists, healthcare professionals, and CAMHS.
