Duties of the MOT Technician:

• Servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
• Conducting general repairs such as brakes, suspension, exhausts, and more
• Performing routine vehicle inspections and diagnostics
• Carrying out MOT tests for class 4 vehicles (MOT Tester licence preferred, training available if required)
• Assisting with wheel alignments, tyre fitting, and air conditioning servicing
• Maintaining high workshop standards and ensuring excellent customer service at all times
• Keeping accurate records of repairs and vehicle histories

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
• Strong diagnostic skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Valid UK driving licence
• MOT Tester licence is highly desirable; training can be provided for suitable individuals
• Professional approach with a friendly, customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team as an MOT Technician
• Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work
