We are looking for a Head Chef to take on control of this great kitchen in East London, an opportunity to make your mark on the local food scene! This would suit a solid and experienced Sous Chef looking to take on a 1st Head Chef position.

This Gastropub has a great local trade and a good name so you have a good base to start from and the Owner is happy to fully support the Head Chef to take this forward and reach new food levels!

The Head Chef will take over a kitchen currently serving around 450 covers per week with lunches around 30-40 and dinners up to 100. We are looking for an ambitious head chef who will be keen to raise these levels through good solid food offers.

Using the best fresh local produce and free reign on suppliers you can design and write exciting menus to showcase your skills and ability. As well as usual favorites you can bring different specials and new menu items.

The kitchen is open 7 days per week so the Head Chef should expect to work around 48 hours per week and have 2 full days off together, You will need to have good knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety and be able to lead a team to maintain quality and standards.
