Overview

Executive Director of Growth, Giving and Living – lead the income generation strategy, including business development and fundraising. You will lead a team that combines commercial insight with charitable purpose, supporting the delivery of commissioned services and growing voluntary income from trusts, donors, corporate partners and legacies.You will shape a joined-up growth strategy that strengthens financial sustainability and supports service transformation. You will work closely with colleagues in care, finance and digital to understand market trends and identify opportunities to expand reach. This is a key role within the Executive Team, contributing to organisational strategy and culture with a performance mindset rooted in values.About You

You may have a background in business development, fundraising or a combination of both. You might come from the charity sector, care sector, local government or a commercial environment. What matters most is your ability to grow sustainable income, lead high-performing teams and build trusted relationships. You will be strategic, collaborative and confident in managing complex portfolios. You will understand the importance of aligning income with mission, and be motivated by the opportunity to create long-term impact. You will also bring strong commercial awareness and an ability to navigate both purpose-driven and performance-led environments.
