SNG Healthcare is proud to be supporting the recruitment of a Deputy Manager for an established residential and dementia service in Southampton.This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and compassionate care professional to step into a senior leadership role, working closely with the Home Manager to deliver high-quality care and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Key Responsibilities

Support the Home Manager in achieving compliance with CQC standards and maintaining outstanding care quality.Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to the care team, ensuring consistent and person-centred support for all residents.Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing through individualised care.Oversee operational duties including rotas, audits, supervisions, and staff training.Act as a senior point of contact for staff, residents, families, and external professionals when required.Contribute to staff development, morale, and retention by fostering a positive, supportive workplace culture.Experience as a Deputy Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Care Assistant in a residential or dementia care setting.Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding best practice.NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care; Level 5 desirable or willingness to undertake.Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.A hands-on, caring, and confident approach with a genuine passion for elderly care.Benefits
