Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias)

Location Market Deeping Lincs /near Peterborough

Salary 42k to 44 k plus overtime 

Days Monday to Friday

6am to 2pm

 2pm 10pm

We are looking for an Electrical maintenance engineer with mechanical aswell 70/30 split .you would be responsible for PPM and repair to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the manufacturing plant. This role involves overseeing all maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and equipment installations, while also ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. The manager will also be involved in developing and implementing maintenance strategies, managing budgets, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Part of the  Maintenance Team:

   have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively. 

• Developing and Implementing Maintenance Strategies:

  Creating and executing preventative maintenance programs, setting maintenance schedules, and optimizing equipment performance to minimize downtime. 

• Ensuring Compliance:

  Enforcing safety regulations, company policies, and relevant industry standards within the maintenance :

• Troubleshooting and Repair:

  Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and other equipment malfunctions, coordinating with other departments as needed. 

• Contractor Management:

  Overseeing contractors working on site, ensuring they adhere to safety and company standards. 

• Continuous Improvement:

  Identifying opportunities to improve maintenance processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Technical Expertise:

  Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, preferably within a manufacturing environment. 

• Leadership and Management:

  Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills. 

• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

  Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, analyze data, and implement effective solutions. .
