Set within a state-of-the-art campus with a specialist autism provision, this Brent role is ideal for a graduate looking to build a career in mental health, psychology, therapy, counselling or SEND.Mental Health Support Assistant role paying £90-110 per day PAYE.Full-time, term-time only contract from September 2026.Excellent experience for a Psychology, Criminology, Counselling, Education or Mental Health graduate.Work in an inclusive primary school with around 450 children, including a specialist autism centre.The school was judged Good by Ofsted in 2024, with Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management, and Early Years all graded Outstanding.Gain direct experience supporting pupils with SEMH, autism, speech and language needs, anxiety, emotional regulation and social communication.The school has a strong reputation for SEND provision, with specialist support for pupils with EHCPs through its autism resource base.As a Mental Health Support Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small-group support across the school day.The successful Mental Health Support Assistant will help pupils develop confidence, resilience, emotional awareness and positive learning behaviours.Mental Health Support Assistant candidates must be calm, patient, emotionally intelligent and committed to safeguarding. ..... full job details .....
