Security Manager – Construction Site (Days)

• Location: Canary Wharf, London
• Pay Rate: £20.50 per hour (PAYE Umbrella)
• Shifts: 12-hour (6.30AM to 6.30PM)
• Duration: Long-term (2 years +)

Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Security Manager for a high-profile construction site based in Canary Wharf. This is a long-term opportunity for a professional with proven experience managing site security on busy construction projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of the site, staff, and assets during Day-time operations.

Key Duties:

• Oversee and manage all security operations
• Conduct regular site patrols and inspections to maintain a secure environment
• Monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems where applicable
• Ensure only authorised personnel gain access to the site
• Enforce site rules and health & safety protocols
• Report and record any incidents, breaches, or suspicious activity
• Liaise with site management, contractors, and emergency services if required
• Lead and coordinate the activities of on-site security personnel
• Maintain detailed shift reports and handover notes

Requirements:

• Valid SIA License (Essential)
• Previous experience as a Security Manager on a construction site (Essential)
• CSCS Card (Preferred)
• SSSTS Certification (Preferred)
