In this role, you won''t just be "operating a machine"-you will be a vital part of the engineering process, helping to develop the next generation of industrial power and green energy solutions.The ScheduleMon - Thu: 07:00 - 15:30Friday: 07:00 - 12:00 (Finish by lunchtime every week!)Your ExpertiseWe are looking for a craftsman who can interpret complex engineering drawings and turn them into precision parts using a mix of manual and CNC equipment.Technical Essentials:Manual Machining: Proven experience with conventional Lathes, Milling, Grinding, and Boring machines.Precision: Expert use of measuring equipment (Verniers, Depth Gauges, Thread Gauges).Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.Digital Skills: Proficient with basic PC tasks and Microsoft Office.Bonus Points (Desirable):NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, or a formal Apprenticeship.Experience with Mazak 5-axis (Mazatrol Smooth X) or Haas ST 10 (Fanuc).Experience using Feature CAM.Who You AreA Problem Solver: You enjoy the challenge ..... full job details .....
