Warehouse Operative

Hales Group are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing business in Reydon who are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative on a temporary to permanent basis.
  
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional seeking long-term employment within a supportive team environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse, maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
  
Key Duties Include:

• Accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders
• Unloading containers and processing incoming deliveries
• Using handheld scanners to locate and manage stock
• Assisting with stock control, stock takes, and inventory records
• Carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting heavier items
• Supporting product assembly, rework, and preparation activities
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Following all company health and safety procedures

  
What We''re Looking For:

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Flexi Forklift Licence would be advantageous but is not essential
• Good IT skills and confidence using stock management systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
• Reliable, adaptable, and flexible approach to work
• Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent employment

  
Working Hours & Pay
Location: Reydon
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x standard rate
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
