Teaching Assistant – Supporting SEND – Branston Locks Primary and Nursery SchoolLocation: Burton Upon Trent, England, United KingdomFixed Term ending 31st August 2026 (initially with potential for extension based on funding). Part time, working 30 hours per week (Full time 37 hours per week). Term time only plus 6 INSET days. Salary: Grade 4: £25,583 to £25,989 per annum pro rata. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint a committed and caring Teaching Assistant to support learning in Year 1 in our newest primary school.Responsibilities
Working with an individual child with specific needs, the successful candidate will have experience of supporting learning within a school and bring a good understanding of areas of learning such as English, Maths and SEND strategies.With a friendly, caring yet professional approach, you will have the ability to respond to learning needs, demonstrating patience and commitment to milestones.Joining this newly opened school, we’re looking for a colleague with a positive ‘can do’ attitude who can be part of shaping an outstanding learning environment.Qualifications
