Closing: 23 rd FPS Dental Team Leader Band 5 Franklin Street, Belfast Temporary (Until 21/12/2026) £15.88 per hour 37.5 hours per week Main Purpose The postholder will support and assist the FPS Service Manager, who is responsible for the overall management of one of the FPS Payments functions. The post holder will manage a Payments Team, on a daily basis, with responsibility for ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and promptly in accordance with the BSO''s Standing Financial Instructions and department procedures. Main Roles and Responsibilities Responsibility for scheduling workload and providing direction on a day to day basis to the Payments Department. Ensuring that resources are available and arrangements are in place for staff and the department to meet directorate and organisational deadlines and comply with Standing Financial Instructions. Utilise IT based solutions for the management and control of the workload of the department, producing routine and ad hoc reports as required. Lead in the development of consistent and efficient working practices across the teams involved in the payments process, ensuring that the most effective and efficient payments processes are in place across all teams. Review processing throughput with FPS Service Manager weekly to ensure that backlogs do not build up and that contractors are paid promptly, accurately according to the relevant payment regulations and the BSO Standing Financial Instructions. ..... full job details .....
