Deputy Home Manager

Our client is a well-established , small and friendly care home in Wokingham.-They pride themselves in providing high quality care and support in a homely environment and have earned a good reputation in the area.
They are currently looking for a Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the smooth running of the home.
As part of the role, you will work some of your day-on the floor, spending time with the residents, administer medication and support the care staff team; you will undertake managerial tasks such as staff supervision and appraisal; help with administrative tasks to support the Registered Manager and take on some on-call duties.
Working hours are 8am to 4pm, 40-hours per week, including working every other weekend.
Requirements:
Previous experience of working in an elderly care home
Experience of working as a Senior HCA with responsibility of administering medication
NVQ Level 3 in Social Care or working towards this qualification
Excellent leadership and people skills
Good listening and problem-solving skills
The ability to work every other weekend
The willingness to undertake some weekend on call
