You''ll own technical work across live Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce platforms, solving complex problems and delivering improvements that make a genuine difference. What experience you''ll need to apply Commercial Magento 2 backend development experience on production ecommerce platforms. In-depth knowledge of Magento 2 architecture, including custom modules, Dependency Injection, plugins and observers. Recent experience within a digital agency, software house or fast-paced multi-client environment. Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs, service contracts and third-party integrations. Hands-on checkout and payment experience, including PSP integrations and custom checkout functionality. Strong PHP and MySQL skills, with experience across Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. Knowledge of Composer, Redis, caching, message queues and Magento performance optimisation. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and production deployments.
