Subject Matter Expert - Mechanical Data Center Design EMEA (m/f/d) , you will be a key member of the NTT Global Design Standards team, working on and delivering translation of the NTT GID Design ‘Product’ defined Owners Project Requirements (OPR) into the Global Reference Design (GRD). You will work closely with the Senior Director of Global Design Standards to drive effectiveness, efficiency and predictability at scale in the development and adoption of best practice design process and procedures.What you will doBeing a key member of the Global Design Standards team supporting regional understanding of the NTT Global Reference Design (GRD) and its engineering detail as it is localised and deployed through third party architects and engineersInterfacing with internal stakeholders from parallel business functions, the NTT Product team and Regional Delivery teamsSupporting design reviews at all stages of project design and delivery on an as required basisConsulting with members of our Engineering, Expansion, Construction, Operations, Product and Sales teams to ensure that optimal design decisions are made with careful assessment of risks and opportunitiesContributing to the development of the Global Reference Design and Regional variantsContributing to Owner Furnished Contractor Installed equipment specifications and procurement of the sameActing as a focal point for lessons learned to include in GRD development and to cascade to Regional Design Management teamsWhat we are looking forUniversity degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, Building Engineering or related discipline)Significant knowledge and experience of deployment of Mechanical Engineering installations in new build data centers for both hyperscale wholesale and conventional enterprise colocation data centersExperience of working internationally and highly developed communication skillsProficient understanding of all other design disciplines required to deliver a new data center facilityThis position is expected to be remote with travel approximately 15% of the timeMust be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesWhat we offer youAn agile company culture with short decision-making paths and plenty of opportunities to show personal initiativeFlexible working time models and mobile working (depending on your role)Allowance for the use of public transport and job bikesAllowance for the use of health and wellnessIndividual training and development opportunitiesNumerous other additional benefits such as birthday vouchers, employee advisory program, employee referral scheme, lunch allowance, company events, etc.Note:
