Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with an award-winning, employee-owned architecture practice based in Birmingham city centre, seeking to appoint a Document Controller to their busy studio.

We are looking for a highly organised, detail-focused Document Controller to join their Birmingham studio, supporting project teams with the accurate management and control of drawings, specifications and project documentation. This is a great opportunity for someone at graduate level or above, or with some administrative/document control experience, looking to build a career within a leading architectural practice.

• Coordinating and organising all in-going and outgoing documentation related to project work and general administration within the company.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective communication between various parties.
• Utilising various software to make sure information is saved and stored in an easily accessible manner.
• Quality control of all issued information.
• Managing and standardising filing systems.
• Supporting Architectural project teams to ensure the smooth processing of information.

• Highly organised, methodical and comfortable managing multiple deadlines at once
• Excellent attention to detail, with a genuine interest in technical drawings and project information
• Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with document management systems is an advantage
• A clear, professional communicator, able to work well as part of a team
• Graduates and those early in their career are encouraged to apply; previous document control or administrative experience is beneficial

Salary to be offered in the region of £28,000-£34,000
