Our client based in Eastleigh are a global building materials company and the largest global manufacturer of fibre cement products. They are looking for an Operative with a Forklift License, based in their large warehouse that will be responsible for Quality Control, and Goods In. Technical Requirements to include:Completed training or proven experience, ideally in logistics, warehouse operations, or quality assurance.Experience or knowledge of quality control: e.g., incoming goods inspection, visual checks, dimensional checksComputer skills would be an advantage: working with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS) and MS OfficeSkills in documenting and reporting quality deviations.Forklift licensePersonal Requirements to include:Attention to detail and accuracy when inspecting goodsSense of responsibility and reliabilityTeamwork skills, but also the ability to work independentlyResilience, especially during high-volume periodsWillingness to work shifts, if requiredInterviews to take place ideally in October and position to start in November.
