Freeway Recruitment are actively seeking Class 2 Home delivery Drivers to work for their client who are a multi national DIY and building materials supplier. Position - Class 2 driver Pay - 14.00 per hour PAYE , Overtime paid at 21.00 per hour for anything after 9 hours per shift Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and 28.00 per hour for all work carried out on a Sunday or Bank Holiday. Post 12 weeks - 14.97 per hour ,Overtime paid at 22.45 per hour for anything after 9 hours per shift Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and 29.94 per hour for all work carried out on a Sunday or Bank Holiday. Working week - 5 and 6 over 7 days Normal start times - 07:00 am or 11:00 am ( Must be flexible to work both shifts) Contracted Shift is 9 hours with a 1 hour break deducted. Paid for a min of 8 hours per shift. The role - Home delivery You will be working in a double manned team , delivering Building and home DIY products to customers houses. Vehicles you will be using will either be 7.5 tonne or 10 Tonne box waggons with a tail lift. This role will be subject to 2 days training when you have successfully completed your first 40 hours. The role itself will be to arrive on site on time , complete your 15 minute walk around and then help your porter or second driver load the vehicle with the runs for that day.
