We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to lead complex tenders (RFx) on an end-to-end basis. Bid Management is a critical pre-sales function within GPS, delivering bid responses for new GPS business in the EMEA region. The team supports strategic, must-win deals and proactive opportunities.Responsibilities include expanding proactive opportunities and ensuring that client communications are compelling, consistent and compliant.Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end bid management cycle for must-win and complex (multi-product/region) GPS deals.Author technical tender documents (RFx) and proactive proposals or pitchbooks.Facilitate client solutioning to ensure recommendations are consultative.Manage and influence resources across the deal team and stakeholders to minimise risk and ensure deadlines are met.Coordinate deal team members, facilitate deal status calls, peer reviews, and internal reporting.Monitor progress to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards.Qualify deals and drive bid/no bid decisions to allocate the right resources.Host deal post-mortems to share lessons learned.Provide consultative support on bid management best practices and EMEA cash management.Ensure deals are tracked in the pipeline accurately and timely.What We Are Looking For
Technical writing, deal assessment/planning and project/bid management expertise.Experience leading cross-regional project or deal teams and advising peers on bid management best practices.Project and/or bid management accreditations beneficial (e.g. APMP, PMP, Prince2).Knowledge of proposal management software and sales enablement platforms (e.g. Seismic).Experience in transaction banking or related enterprise B2B presales.EU cash management familiarity advantageous.Strong communication skills, thorough attention to detail.Understanding of needs-based or consultative selling techniques.Document design fundamentals and advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel).Analytical approach and ability to work to tight deadlines with multiple projects.Commercial acumen and business development experience.Treasury qualifications desirable (e.g. ACT CertICM, AFP CTP).Benefits
