The Role Provide high-quality day-to-day care, support and guidance to children and young people in a residential setting. Build positive, trusting relationships with young people. Meet the emotional, physical, educational, social and behavioural needs of each child. Act as a positive role model and promote appropriate behaviour. Support young people to develop independence, confidence and essential life skills. Follow individual care plans and contribute to reviews and planning. Encourage engagement in education, employment, training and recreational activities. Support young people to achieve positive outcomes and reach their full potential.
