We are looking for an outgoing, people-loving, creative individual to join our team as Business Development Manager in Leeds, overseeing three venues: Revolucin de Cuba, Revolution Electric Press and Revolution Call Lane.

Position Overview:As Business Development Manager, your focus will be driving revenue and footfall across our three Leeds venues by turning relationships and opportunities into real results. Youll play a key role in converting private hire enquiries into confirmed bookings, while actively generating new leads through networking, outreach and relationship building.Youll work closely with each venue''s General Manager to develop creative event concepts that give guests compelling reasons to visit, helping to drive footfall and boost sales. Youll also research and build partnerships with external promoters, brands and businesses to host third-party events that bring in new audiences and further drive trade.
Ideal candidate:
Someone who has the confidence and passion for building relationships whilst being sales driven. Hospitality or retail experience would be an advantage but is not essential.*We would welcome applications if you have experience as a Business Development Manager/Brand Ambassador/Brand Manager/Sales Manager/Events Manager/Account Manager *Key Responsibilities:Inbound and Enquiry Management:Handle enquiries for the hub that are +35 people which will be passed over from the central reservations teamCarry out show-rounds and client meetings when requiredUse effective sales techniques to maximise conversionDeal with enquiries to a brand standard and support the central reservations team where neededOutbound:Consistently be out and visible in the hub locations promoting the business(es) through effective activityAttend networking events regularly across the locationsPlan and execute targeted and specific outbound plans to generate revenue across the year and especially across the festive periodExecute brand outbound activity as directed by the Bars BDMEvents and Strategy:Work alongside the Managers to plan quarterly strategies ( regarding local activity that sits alongside the always on business approach )Develop concepts for events within the locations that provide a revenue opportunityEffectively work with the Social Media and Events Executive to market said events to maximise successConsistently explore project event space opportunities that will be beneficial for the business(es) and manage relationships with event suppliersPeople and Organisation:Work collaboratively with the Social Media and Events Executive to ensure strategies are implemented effectively and remain on-brandWork collaboratively and closely with the Central Support Team to ensure all guests receive an incredible experience when bookingWork closely with venue teams to ensure planned activity is executed well and the wider team is bought into sales activityUnderstand the operation(s) of venues within the hub in order to effectively book in large-scale eventsDays and Hours Pattern :You are expected to work a 5 day working week (Monday to Friday). The nature of the business means that there may be occasions where you are expected to work evenings and weekends. This will depend upon the demand on the role and the calendar events that are occurring. The role will include travel across 3 (but not limited to) of our fantastic venues - Revolution Nottingham Cornerhouse, Revolucion de Cuba Nottingham and Revolucion de Cuba Derby.Home-working will likely form a limited part of the working week.Expenses paid for travel:
