Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: -50-52K
Shift Pattern: Two different shifts are available - 4 on, 2 off (no weekends) OR 4 on, 4 off
Nicholas Associates have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, to join an established & growing client in the Sheffield area.
The main tasks and responsibilities of the role include:
- Accountability for all electrical work (planned / breakdown) occurring on the plant.
- Providing first line maintenance/breakdown support
- Managing electrical engineering activities on shift to comply with all internal and external health, safety and environmental requirements
- Assisting with the planning of shift activities where particular expertise is required.
- Carrying out and supporting continuous improvement activities when necessary.
- Providing relevant information and reports of plant breakdowns to assist in the completion of Single Event Analysis (SEA) and acting as a member of the team assisting in the implementation of actions to prevent re-occurrences where applicable.
- Generating accurate Engineering reports
- Leading, coaching and developing other employees, including apprentices
You will be:
- Driven to work in a demanding and challenging environment.
- Have proven electrical experience in industrial environments.
- Able to demonstrate a good level of electrical knowledge and practical skills.
- Able to lead, coach and develop other employees.
- A good communicator, both verbal & written.
- Able to demonstrate good planning skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the health and safety and environmental requirements
