Morson Edge currently have an opportunity available for a Quality Engineer to work on the behalf of our Aerospace client based in Luton. Our aerospace client is seeking an enthusiastic Quality Engineer contractor to support a range of projects by assisting with the provision of Quality Assurance activities. This role sits within our Customer Support and Service Solutions (CS3) Division, covering fast jet and several other in-service platforms. As a Quality Engineer, you will work at Integrated Project Team (IPT) level, collaborating closely with the Operations team. What you will do as a Quality Engineer: • Support the Principal Quality Engineer and Quality Manager in driving objectives to meet or exceed targets • Act as Quality focal point for in-service and returns material activities • Support investigation and resolution of non-conformances, including root cause analysis and corrective actions • Review and approve quality documentation related to returns, concessions and repair activities • Ensure effective traceability and configuration control of returned and unserviceable items • Interface with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations) and external suppliers • Ensure compliance with AS9100, Client Quality Management System and customer contractual requirements • Contribute to continuous improvement activities across in-service quality processes • Deliver compliant products in a timely manner, meeting all cost and safety requirements ..... full job details .....
