Senior Youth Support Worker

OverviewCareTech is recruiting for a Senior Youth Support Worker in Fishponds, Bristol, United Kingdom. This permanent, full-time role offers 40 hours per week and a salary of £13.31 per hour plus £67.50 per sleep-in. Closing date: Friday 26 September 2025.
About Linx 16 PlusLinx 16 Plus is supported accommodation for young people aged 16-18. We are newly registered with Ofsted and are committed to offering supported accommodation to some of the UK’s most vulnerable young people.
Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Youth Support Worker you will have prior experience supporting young people in the UK and be aware of local resources that may benefit our young people. In this senior role you will also support other staff, using your experience to assist and guide them. You will support each young person and be an advocate to encourage the normal development of young people through providing a consistent, caring adult role model. This could include:
Supporting them through the challenges of independence
Being emotionally available to listen to young people’s views and feelings
Promoting and building positive relationships in a nurturing environment
Having fun and enjoying time with our young people
Planning and engaging shared time within the home for the team and our young people
Creating an environment that our young people deserve to be a part of
Creating opportunities for the young people to grow and thrive within the home
Rota and HoursRota and hours: Each shift runs from 8:00 to 23:00. Sleep-ins are from 23:00 to 08:00. There is a 3-week rolling rota (one day on, two days off).
Week 1: 30 hrs = 2 days working and 2 sleeps
Week 2: 30 hrs = 2 days working and 2 sleeps
Week 3: 45 hrs = 3 days working and 3 sleeps
