We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our client''s leading manufacturing site in Nottinghamshire.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and efficiency of plant and equipment across the site. From carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and undertaking mechanical repairs across a range of machinery.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and efficiency of plant and equipment across the site. From carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and undertaking mechanical repairs across a range of machinery.
Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of machinery on site such as presses, body makers and ovens.
- Work closely with the production teams to minimise downtime
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety procedures
- Level 3 Mechanical qualification or equivalent
- Electrical qualification would be an advantage but not essential
- Mechanical background with some electrical work
- Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environments
- Proactive, flexible and a strong team player
- 3 shift pattern (Mornings, Afternoons, Nights)
- 8 hour shifts
- Salary up to £45,000
